For the second week of Senior Projects, we had to design a typeface depicting the personality about the other person. The idea was to essentially continue off of what we had made in the previous week but solely focus on the personality traits. I ended up sitting on a google image page of personality traits, circling anything I felt relevant to her. In the end I felt that I was left with day & night results. I was able to separate my results into both a fragile and aggressive category. Funny enough, that is probably the best way to describe Tiffany as a person.
Happy with my business card approach, I found it interesting that when separate, the shapes were both child- like and fragile but as you compiled them, it became a complex structure in a somewhat aggressive manner. Keeping with the spontaneity of the first project, I decided that I was going to compose each letter as quick as possible. As a result, I ended up with the entire alphabet with different x-heights.
