Anywho, following Communication Design I with Henri, I was ready to tackle the second part of his class. This time, we were dealing with semiotics and the ability to read photographs both sep-erately and as a pair. The project was title A Thousand Pictures, which required us to choose two photographs, one photographer mentioned in Susan Sontag’s ‘On Photography’ and a modern photographer. Then over the course of the quarter, we were to break down these pictures in different ways, which I will explain later, then at the end of the quarter print four large overview posters.
