Right around the time that we won the award, Henri and myself had just finised the catalogue that was sponsered by the UCLA Art | Sci Center and the Art | Global Health Center titled 07-08 Art + Activism Lectures + Events that was digitally printed by Typecraft Wood & Jones. The 58 page catalogue was used to display all of the posters created within these two years. Working on this catalogue was amazing since we really had no boundaries be-cause we essentially created all of the content. Over the past couple of years, the Art|Sci Center and the Art|Activism series has a disctinct visual quality and a conceptual background that needed to transcribe into the book. Eventually we came to the idea of wheatpasting which is a process of ‘free’ publicity that anyone is really able to pursue. The process of wheat-pasting is printing, usually on a cheap paper and making a homemade paste that you apply on the paper to the wall.
